Description ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Situated on the lot to give a view from every window. Richarsonian shingle style, sandstone, layered shingles, suggestion of two towers, dormer and bay windows. Dentil work, stained glass., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This house has become a landmark in Boulder because of its prominent location and Richardsonian style shingle design. The house has been mistakenly attributed to architect Henry H. Richardson. When Frederick J. Klingler purchased the home in January 1912, a Camera article included: "... the house is modeled after the designs of a famous American architect - Henry H. Richardson of Boston."
