History: The edges of many of the papers in this collection were singed, perhaps in the 1871 fire in the temporary courthouse at 1018 Pearl Street.

Description This ledger is a record of land ownership arranged by section, township, and range. It lists the Grantees, date the deed was written and recorded, Book & Page, and how title was transferred (Quit Claim Deed, Treasurer's Deed, etc.). There is a column for Wife, but there are very few names written. The entries begin in 1864 and are concentrated in the 1870s-1880s. There are a few entries in the 1920s. Located in the Real Estate Section.

Description These ledgers record tax sales in Boulder County. Information given includes number of certificate, date of sale, name of owner, legal description of property sold, name of purchaser, amount of taxes paid by purchaser, to whom assigned, date of assignment, name of person redeeming, date of redemption, amount paid, name of person to whom conveyed, date of deed. There are also thirteen Redemption Certificate books, 1888-1900.
