BOX 5: Documents about schools in Boulder, including: 1950s Boulder High School Panther Handbook and programs (including football), 1955-1956 Boulder High Student Directory, Casey Junior High, daycare in Boulder, State Preparatory School, University of Colorado documents including 1950s sports programs, University of Colorado Nursery School, and Whittier School.
BOX 6: Miscellaneous documents, including: Buffalo Bill, "A Colorado Night" Christmas poem by William Casey, Colorado: The Cattlemen script, Colorado Coal Strike 1913-1914 and Ludlow Massacre by Maxine Benson, what is believed to be a speech on friendship, A Handbook for Air Raid Wardens, The Harbinger: Elementary Grade Schools, 1920 The Hub Store baseball score book, 1908-1909 holiday postcards, World War II Ration books, Boulderado Coffee Shop menu, and Fred and Fae and Imogene Coca fan materials. Also includes additional Benson family correspondence, including letters sent by Lorin and Edna Benson and Myrle Benson Wright during a 1948 trip to Panama to the Mac Benson family back in Boulder.
BOXES 7-8: Flat boxes that contain oversize items including photo scrapbooks for the Benson family, Children's Shop newspaper clipping scrapbook and accounting pages, L.E. Benson photographs, Buffalo Bill photograph, Ladwig family genealogy papers, three documents believed to be related to a building project at 936 Mapleton Avenue, and miscellaneous autograph books. Box 7 also includes a 6-page set of original architectural drawings by M.P. Kellogg titled, "A Brick Venirred Cottage." Drawings may be for an early version of the house at 402 Alpine Avenue in Boulder (where M.P. Kellogg appears to have lived) or may be for a house that was never constructed.
725-O: Three copies of an oversize poster advertising a boxing benefit at the Elks Club with the headlining match of Charles "Buck" Smith versus Walter "Kid" Carter. Poster is believed to date circa 1928 based on University of Colorado yearbooks showing Charles Smith as football captain during that year. Poster is housed in the oversize section of the document storage room.
