Box 1 - information about Josie Heath and her career, Josie Heath's 1990 and 1992 U.S. Senate campaigns, 19 photographs of Josie Heath and colleagues, 1985 Board of Boulder County Commissioners meeting transcripts about zoning, Books with Options (including one group photograph), abolishment of Director of University Relations position at University of Colorado, documents related to Jean Dubofsky, Greenbelt Program, "Pinnacles & Plains" poetry by Kaye Bache-Snyder, Public Office for Women, documents related to Janet Roberts (including a 2007 memorial slide show on disc), materials related to Penfield Tate II (including three snapshot photos of Penfield Tate and the Penfield Tate family) and Ruth Wright. Also included are two small books with a section about Josie Heath, including "Over, Under, Around, and Through: How Hall of Famers Surmount Obstacles" by Tietjen and Greenberg, and "Our Footprints . . . and more" by Martha Hardesty.

Oversize - One matted black and white print of the 1883 Boulder County Courthouse is available at 409-O-1. The print is signed "Orrin Olson, 77" (77 is believed to be 1977 based on other work found by the artist).

Josie Heath moved to Boulder in 1970 with her husband Rollie and their children. Soon after arriving, Heath began to work with the Democratic party. She served as Boulder County Commissioner in the 1980s and president of the Community Foundation of Boulder County from 1995-2016. She ran for Colorado State Senate in 1976 and U.S. Senate in 1990 and 1992. Over the course of her career, she worked to elevate women and was involved with Public Office for Women and the Women of the West Museum.
