Written by Cora Curtis Long, it was published in the November 1908 issue of "Good Housekeeping." It was the fifth article in their series of Model Residence Towns. The four earlier articles were on Pasadena, California; Richmond, Indiana; Wellesley, Massachusetts; and Augusta, Georgia.

These newspaper articles from the Boulder Daily Camera and the Boulder News-Herald feature the continuing controversies over the city's glacier-fed water supply, a new zoning ordinance, municipal services, paving of Mapleton Ave. and other city streets, planting trees, the activities of city officials, and many other issues and events of the period.

These twenty-five folders contain numerous informational brochures and other printed items published by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce and other other organizations including the New York Times (in 1982) to promote the tourism features of the Boulder County (Colo.) region. Includes photographs of the Esquire and Coronet Magazines building, F.W. Reich, the Denver-Boulder Turnpike, the new Municipal Building., The brochure titled Boulder County, Colorado: Her Resources, Minerals, Agricultural, Horticultural, Etc. has a photograph of the Eureka Mine Tram found in 328-73-16.

These two folders contain numerous informational leaflets published by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, for the most part. Folder 01 has leaflets from the 1930s through 1957. Brochures from 1963 through the 1970s are in folder 02.
