This folder contains two copies of a newspaper-size four-page printed sheet with captioned views of mines, mills, and mine buildings in "the richest gold camp in Colorado," in the Ward Mining District. It also contains views of the town of Ward, and views that accompany advertisements for businesses in Boulder, Colo. It is undated, but probably ca. 1890s. The first copy has been mended archivally; the second copy is in a number of pieces, in poor condition.

The surveys of mining claims go from preliminary sketches to finished color plats, often with the name of the owner, discovery shafts, open cuts, tunnels, roads, creeks, surrounding claims, and structures. Some plats also contain the depth of the shafts and length of the tunnels. Part of the Real Estate Section, currently stored on the mezzanine.
