One box (twenty-two folders) with plats of additions and subdivisons in Boulder County, Colorado, original filings and records, kept by the law firm of Caplan and Earnest. The collection is arranged alphabetically by the name of the addition or subdivision. The box is in the Carnegie reading room, Real Estate section. (Organization note: Should compare these plats to those in Paul Greenwald Collection, and keep only the unique ones.)

This is a very large collection that is currently in storage awaiting organization. Primarily contains City and County of Boulder documents pertaining to land use issues. Martha (Ricky) Weiser attended hundreds of local government hearings and she wrote personal comments on some of these papers.

These folders contain newspaper clippings about land use in Boulder County. Topics covered include land use control, land use legislation, road regulations, zoning disputes, the development of agricultural land, collapsed mine shafts and mine reclamation, hotel development, planned unit developments (PUDs), gravel mining, blue line restrictions; and proposed zoning and annexation for properties and subdivisions throughout Boulder County. The clippings were compiled by the Reference Staff at the Boulder Public Library.

Deborah Hayes has been a prominent member of the League of Women Voters. She describes her early introduction and involvement with the League due to her mother being a member when she was growing up in California. Ms. Hayes joined the League after graduate school when she came to Boulder to teach at CU, and has been involved with the organization ever since. She describes studying and taking positions on civic issues, as well as educating the public about issues and candidates, as important aspects of the League's work. As a past president, she discusses the league's mission ("informed citizen participation in government") and its activities over the years. Ms. Hayes describes the changes that have taken place at the League in recent years including the admission of men as members, somewhat diminished ernollment, and the use of the Internet and a League Web site to communicate with members and with the public. Lastly, she talks about some of the accomplishments of the Boulder League during her years of involvement and relates some personal ancedotes.
