This envelope contains a leather-bound account book with a number 22 on the front cover. It lists citizens of Boulder, Colo., by name, and each person's address and political inclination, apparently for the election of 1900. Two keys inside the back cover list the following categories of voters: Republican, Democratic, Populist, Prohibition, Fusion, and Doubtful.

David Grimm was, in many ways, the voice of Boulder in the 1970s and 1980s: first through his radio work on KBOL and KGNU, and later through his decade-long position as Communications Director for the City of Boulder. In this entertaining and enlightening interview David Grimm brings the Boulder of those decades alive through the recounting of many irreverent and telling anecdotes of those lively years, including stories about politics in Boulder, environmentalism in Boulder, the Boulder-Dushanbe Teahouse, the construction of the Pearl Street Mall, the Halloween Mall Crawl, and various famous people who visited Boulder over the years.

The brochure is a compilation of Boulder facts and figures including history, government, rankings, climate, population, postal receipts, telephone service, Boulder Daily Camera circulation, building permits, Chamber of Commerce membership, building and loan company assets, Boulder banks, electric and gas meters in service, agricultural production, mineral production, trade characteristics, marriage licenses issued, passenger car and truck registrations, sales tax revenue, tax rate, tax collection records public school enrollment, university enrollment, cost of living, and housing characteristics.

One vertical file that contains information clipped from newspapers, magazines, and other publications on Boulder in the latter part of the 20th century . Topics include eateries, businesses, outdoor recreation throughout the seventies and the counterculture changes in the nineties, when Boulder became known as the "Republic of Boulder."

This folder contains archival photocopies of newspaper clippings, bulk from 1934-1935, which were among those Ira M. DeLong collected in a scrapbook. They were copied to preserve and improve the accessibility of the information they contain. The articles cover various aspects of the banks, pioneers, and socio-economic affairs of Boulder, Colo., and other parts of the state during those years.

In this program produced by Channel 8 TV, former Boulder City Council member, Janet Roberts, and former council member and mayor, Ruth Correll, talk about their cutting-edge roles as women active in politics in Boulder, particularly during the 1950s through 1970s. Roberts credits the League of Women Voters for arousing her interest in politics and giving her the skills to become only the fourth woman on the Boulder City Council. They discuss issues on which they worked that remain relevant, especially the issues of affordable housing and growth management. They also comment on the relative lack of corruption in Boulder politics compared to that in some eastern cities, and the openness of Boulder to citizen participation. The program also includes commentary by Linda Jourgensen, another former Boulder mayor.
