ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Massive brick sorority house with multiple, steeply pitched, overlapping gables. Gabled dormers with shingled walls and multi-light windows. Projecting entrance bay with flat parapeted roof with rusticated stone trim. Tudor arched entrance with cast stone trim and brick piers. Paneled and glazed door with paneled sidelights and stone threshold., To right of entrance is two-story, round arched window with multiple lights and stone keystone. Grouped casement windows in strings of three and four have flat arches and brick sills. Overhanging eaves with stone tab returns. Facade chimney with double shaft is corbelled, has stone trim, and has chimney pots. Round arched, double French doors. Large addition to south., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This building, although altered by a modern addition, is also representative of the Jacobean/ Elizabethan style in Boulder.
