ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: One-and-a-half-story tan brick dwelling with stucco at basement level and on gable. Front-gabled roof with overhanging, enclosed eaves, brackets and some exposed rafters. Covered front porch originally spanned facade with northeast end now enclosed as part of living room; entrance to porch now on side instead of center with new wood rail between brick piers., Center door; combination double-hung (some 9/1 and some with transoms) and casement windows with brick sills. Brick chimney. Garage under house with shingled bedroom addition above. Triple window in front gable., STYLE : Bungalow., DATE BUILT : 1911., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: An example of the Bungalow style popular in America from 1900-1930. Characteristics include horizontal lines, covered front porches, sleeping porches, and overhanging eaves with exposed rafters and brackets.
