ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Massive brick commercial building with hipped roof featuring large, front eyebrow dormer with false beams. Three bays on facade. Central, projecting second-story oriel bay with hipped roof, featuring bands of two and three double-hung windows, and panled wood with engaged columns and arches in paneling. Flanking this are bays with pyramidal hipped roofs with false beams, each of which has two tall, narrow windows with shared stone sill on second story., First story facade features central entrance with large segmental arch with stone keystone and imposts and secondary entrances with stone trim. Two large display windows on either side of main entrance. The building is intersected on rear by large, gambrel roofed wing., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This building is an integral part of this small commercial district. The building is one of the largest in the district, and displays ornate architectural detailing reflecting its important status in the neighborhood, including its central arched entrance with stone keystone and imposts; its projecting second story bay with decorative paneling; and its central eyebrow dormer., DATE BUILT: 1912., STYLE: none.
