These folders contain photomechanical proofs of views of Boulder County (Colo.) structures and scenes. They are located in folders letter-groups A-F. A descriptive index, prepared by Laurence Paddock of the Boulder Daily Camera, is in the front of each folder.

These three folders contain reports written by Lewis Firth after he visited Boulder and Nederland to inspect the company's mine. They are assessments of expenses and future profitability. Firth was president of Wolf Tongue Mining Company.

Mariann Lastoka recreates the experience of growing up on the Harney-Lastoka farm at 95th Street and South Boulder Road in the 1950s; and tells many stories about her large and close-knit family, members of which originally came to the area as immigrants from Czechoslovakia. The interview includes details of using ditch irrigation, building and baking bread in an outdoor bread oven, herding cows with a tractor as a young girl, her relatives experiences during the Depression and with World War II rationing. She also speaks about her family's involvement in coal mining and hard-rock mining, and she discusses the issues that were involved in the family's sale of the land to the Boulder County Open Space Program.
