Description
This box contains the minute book of the Board of Trustees of the town of Eldora, Colorado for the years 1898-1916, and the Treasurer's yearly reports for 1914-1932. A typewritten transcript of the book is located with the original., Two oral history tapes were removed and are now stored in the Negatives Room on the mezzanine. On these, Rosamond Northrop reads names from the 1901 election poll book for Eldora, and Clara Rugg and Jack Langley tell what they remember about each person. The tape was made in 1975., One roll of microfilm was also removed and stored. It is titled "Miscellaneous papers from the Donald C. Kemp Collection", has the records of a land dispute over Happy Valley Placer Claim between Donald Kemp and Eldora townsite. A detailed list of the contents is in the box.
