Mary Kate Rejouis, an ordained priest and rector of St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in Boulder, grew up in the Whittier neighborhood and was a student at Whittier Elementary School in the 1970s. She describes her years there with great affection and respect for the things it taught her - academically and in terms of values. She also talks about her years at Casey Junior High School; the close-knit nature of the Whittier neighborhood; the place of religion in her life, including her mission and experiences as priest at St. Aidan's; and other aspects of Boulder's history and culture - including the annual Bolder Boulder race.
