This envelope contains five assorted photoprints, including one cyanotype of a lake with mountains behind, a faded print of Mary Lucinda Wellman and Charles B. Eastman on their wedding day 12 June 1901, a portrait of Etta Reihle from Mrs. Henry Reihle, a photo of 4 male musicians photographed by the Cooper studio in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and an unidentified photoprint of a school teacher and her young students standing outside of their schoolhouse.

This collection contains 239 photographs of the Wellman family, their children and grandchildren and acquaintances. The large album in Box 1 contains 22 portraits, 5 of which are identified; it has a worn brown leather cover with embossed flowers; its brass clasp is broken. Box 1 also contains a "Gem Album" of 42 gem tintypes and cartes de visite; it has a worn maroon cloth cover. Two of the tintypes are identified; both are of May Wellman. Box 1 also contains 9 photoprints. Box 2 contains 90 photos: a view of the Wellman farmhouse and 85 unidentified portraits organized by subject, namely the costumes of children, couples, groups, men, women and wedding parties. Box 3 contains 76 identified portraits arranged by family name.

Tintypes of identified persons ( mostly boys and girls).

This album contains 42 photos (41 tintypes and 1 photoprint) . Two of the tintypes are identified: both are of May Wellman. The little album has a rust-colored cloth cover; the edges of the pages are red. The following writing (in several different hands) appears inside the front cover: "May Wellman / Mother of / Ada Lunsford, 800 Grant Place."
