One vertical file that contains information clipped from newspapers, magazines, and other publications on: the history of prohibition and bootlegging in Boulder, the Better Boulder Party, the Beer Act and Beer Day . Boulder went "dry" in 1907, though by mandate of a Colorado statute which argued that 3.2 % beer was not intoxicating, a number of establishments sold 3.2% beer in the "dry" years. Boulder went "wet", meaning that all forms of alcohol could be sold, in 1967.
