ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Two-story brick dwelling with double front gables with decorative verge boards and gable ornaments. Gable faces are shingled and one has round window. One gable is slightly projecting and has window with pedimented crown with garland and extends through cornice. The other gable has paired, double-hung windows with shared segmental arches. Bay window on facade has three segmental arched double-hung windows with brick relief., Overhanging eaves; corbelled brick chimneys. Hipped roof porch with classical column supports and balustrade. Stone foundation. Center, paneled and glazed door with transom., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This house is representative of the Victorian Eclectic homes built in Boulder during the late nineteenth century, as reflected in the asymmetrical plan; the gables with shingles, verge boards, and ornaments; the variety of windows; and the porch with classical columns., DATE BUILT: [1890s]., STYLE: Eclectic.
