Stone foundation., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This building represents Boulder' s early vernacular housing. ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION (2nd home): Classical detailing: segmental arched lintels, hipped roof, bracketed eaves, porch with pediment and columns., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE (2nd home): This house is significant for its classical detailing, hipped roof and bracketed eaves, which are representative of the Italianate style of architecture., ORIGINAL OWNER (2nd home): George Lytle., DATE BUILT (2nd home): 1873., STYLE (2nd home): Italianate., The 1st home photograph was taken in 1988. The 2nd home photograph was taken in Feb. 1986 when it was in its original location at 2442 Pearl Street.

It is a good representation of Boulder's early 20th century middle- class housing.
