Description
ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: One-story brick residence with side-gabled roof intersected on front by gabled porch. Overhanging eaves and exposed rafters. Gable ends are stuccoed. Porch gable end has stucco and paired, 4-light windows with slanted surround. Porch has overhanging eaves, exposed rafters, brick walls with concrete trim, and tapered wood pier supports. Center, paneled and glazed door. Raised, random rubble foundation., 5/1 light windows; band of three windows to right of door. Windows have flat arches and brick sills. Basement level windows with concrete sills., STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: This dwelling is a good example of the many Bungalow style residences constructed in this neighborhood during the 1920s. Typical elements of the style include the stone, brick, and stucco wall cladding; the gabled roof with projecting gabled porch; and the multi-light windows., DATE BUILT: 1923., STYLE: Bungalow.
