This collection contains a photograph album and an envelope of ten loose photos. The album, which is of brown leather with a brass clasp and the name "C. G. Buckingham" stamped on the front cover, contains photographs dating from about the 1860s-1910s which pertain to the Buckingham family of Van Wert, Ohio. The loose photos show Buckinghams in farming scenes and camping in the Rocky Mountain National Park, etc., ca. 1917-1918. Included are cartes de visite and tintypes., The photographs were taken by studios in Van Wert, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and in Denver and Boulder, Colorado.

This envelope contains five incompletely identified photographs ca. 1880-1940 of friends or relatives of the William R. Collins family of Boulder, Colo., and a photo of an unidentified grave. Tintype photographs are included.

This collection contains two photograph albums. The first, in Box 1, contains 26 photos size 5 x 7"; 6 are identified. It has a dense lacquered front cover with purple and blue columbines on a gold field surrounded by a dark green border; its spine and back cover are of green and white plush; its brass clasp is broken. The second album, in Box 2, contains 19 unidentified 5 x 7" photos. It has a synthetic white cover with flowers, and a blue-green plush spine and back cover., Approximately half of the photographs in these albums were taken by studios in Quincy, Illinois. Most of the rest were taken in various parts of Colorado.
