History: Clinton M. Tyler married Sarah Emma Smith (daughter of N. K. Smith). The couple had seven children: Lillian E. (married Samuel E. Ward in 1883), Ella F. (married Richard H. Whiteley Jr. in 1887), Bert, Frank (Rowena Coman), Frederick M., Dolph S., and Lu C. (married Cora B. Parker in 1905).
