One box of publications, photographs and negatives organized by address of Nixon-designed buildings. Architectural drawings and blueprints (on mezzanine) by architect Thomas E. Nixon; Nixon and Jones; Brown, Brokaw and Bowen; and Nixon, Brown, Brokaw and Bowen. This collection is not fully organized.

First Christian Church and Educational Building (28th & Pennsylvania) designed by Nixon and Jones in 1956-1959.
Fire Station at 30th and Arapahoe (1585 30th St.) designed by Nixon and Jones in 1964.
Mountain View Elementary in Longmont designed by Nixon, Brown, Brokaw and Bowen in 1967.
Ken Evenson residence (address unknown, possibly in Sunshine Canyon) designed by Brown, Brokaw and Bowen.
Municipal Building addition designed by Nixon, Brown, Brokaw and Bowen in 1977. (3 folders)

Thomas E. "Tom" Nixon was born in Boulder on 29 October 1928, and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in architecture. Prior to his death in a plane crash in 1997, Nixon designed the Foothills Lab building for NBI and later redesigned it for UCAR. His specialty was school design. He designed Nederland Elementary School, for which he received a Design Excellence Award. He also won two historic preservation awards for additions to Boulder High School. At the time of his death, he was working on plans for Monarch Elementary School in Louisville, and the addition to Centennial Middle School in Boulder.
