This folder contains documents pertaining to the designation of Grandview Terrace as an historic district (LM HD 99-8). Included: a proposed historic district boundary map, correspondence, Ordinance Number 7103 and Ordinance Number 7038. A memorandum of Understanding between the City of Boulder, the Colorado Arts and Crafts Society, Historic Boulder, Colorado Preservation, Inc., and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a Memorandum of Agreement between the Regents of the University of Colorado and the City of Boulder are included.
This area is bounded by Broadway on the west, the east side of 15th Street on the east, University Avenue on the south (excluding 1402 Broadway), and the north side of Grandview on the north. Buildings that were preserved include 1301, 1302, 1308, 1320, 1333, 1334, 1338, 1344, 1345, 1429 and 1445 Grandview Avenue. Other buildings in the district include 1416, 1506, 1522, and 1546 Broadway, and 1305, 1333, 1505, 1511 University Avenue. Buildings that were demolished include 1215, 1220, 1225, 1230, 1232, 1243, and 1244 Grandview, 1510 and 1513 13th Street, 1221 and 1229 University, 1424, 1425, 1434, 1444 and 1450 15th Street, 1424 Broadway.
