This collection is a photographic record of churches and their congregations in Boulder county, covering nearly a century from the 1870s through 1979.

Ownership Note

The photographs in this collection came to A. A. Paddock and his son Laurence Paddock from numerous sources, primarily from pioneer Boulder families who had these photos in their posssession and knew of Paddock's efforts to collect and preserve Boulder's historic past. A. A. Paddock was a founding member of the Boulder Historical Society in 1945, and began donating his collection to the Society over a period of years.

This collection is on permanent loan from the Boulder Historical Society.
