This collection is a photographic record of the way Boulder looked, covering a century from the earliest known photo taken in 1865 through the 1960s, as recorded in panoramic views.

The photographs in this collection came to A. A. Paddock and his son Laurence Paddock from numerous sources, primarily from pioneer Boulder families who had these photos in their possession and knew of Paddock's efforts to collect and preserve Boulder's historic past. A.A. Paddock was a founding member of the Boulder Historical Society in 1945, and began donating his collection to the Society over a period of years.

This collection is on permanent loan from the Boulder Historical Society.
