Description

The photographs in this collection came to A. A. Paddock and his son, Laurence Paddock, from numerous sources, primarily from pioneer Boulder families who had these photos in their possession and knew of Paddock's efforts to collect and preserve Boulder's historic past. A.A. Paddock was a founding member of the Boulder Historical Society in 1945, and began donating his collection to the Society over a period of years.

Summary

All of the photographs are located in boxes 205-1 and 205-2, except for the following oversized photographs:
205-O-1: Five photographs of boys in their go karts, mounted on a single board.
205-O-2: A view of the Berthoud ski area and parking lot, taken by H. H. Heuston.
205-O-3: Northern Colorado Champions in Golf, 1950 and 1951.
205-O-4: Fourth Annual Ski Tournament, Allenspark, Colorado, March 1925.

Very little snow on the slope behind. Crowd of people posed beside the strip of snow coming down the hill. There is a man at the left of the line who is holding a rake to groom the snow. There are a couple of boys wearing sweaters with RMNP (Rocky Mountain National Park) Ski Club, Estes Park.
