Description

Photographs of mines and miners, mining towns and their inhabitants in Boulder County, Colorado. Collected by Harrison Cobb, they are Ernest V. Hunt's photos of early 20th century scenes near Berthoud, Lyons, Salina, Ward and other mining areas in the vicinity of the Colorado Rockies.

History

Harrison Cobb came to Boulder County in the 1920s and has been involved in the mining industry ever since. He is the author of a book on the history of mining in Boulder County, Colorado.
