This oral history collection began in 1976 as a project, facilitated by grant money from the Bicentennial Celebration Committee. The collection continues to grow and, since 1984, has been coordinated by the Carnegie Library for Local History. Volunteers conduct the interviews. The interviewees mostly are long-time residents, discussing a variety of topics covering local history.
